Our Mission
The Minnesota Tenants Alliance (MTA) is a tenant-led, grassroots organization committed to being an effective voice at the local, state and federal levels of government, advocating for the preservation of subsidized and low-rent housing. We create change by growing our tenant network and by educating and empowering more low-income tenants to change affordable housing policy and administrative practices that affect everyone's lives. We believe that prejudicial perspectives, whether they relate to income, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, familial status, or sexual preference, diminish every individual's need for a clean, safe, and affordable home. |
